Music So Good You'll Want To Eat It!
I’ve been in the music Industry for 15+ years now, but only now have I braved it to go it alone. In the beginning I worked my way up in commercial studios in the UK, from little ole’ tea boy, to finally reaching my (at the time) dream job of Sound Engineer. After all that is what I trained for at University (Gateway School Of Recording).
In the early days, I was fortunate to get to work alongside many great and many not so great artists. Some went on to BIG things, and others are probably working in a drive-thru Maccy D’s somewhere. And over this time, by accident more so than by plan, I slowly started to notice I was slipping into the producer role time and again. Before I even knew it, I’d moved on from just engineering and mixing sessions, to actually taking full control of the direction of music for artists.
That though is in the past, and after a few years off, music has dragged me kicking and screaming back into it’s fold. I just couldn’t get away from the fact that I like making music, ok sometimes it can be an absolute headache when you’re working on a track that you’ve heard literally 100’s of times, but the end result is always something pleasing, a form of achievement, even if the music isn’t what I would listen to in my spare time.
As my catalogue grows I hope you find some of my music that suits you and your project. And if you do by chance make a purchase, I would love to see the end result of what you did with it. It’s like the icing on the cake seeing it in the wild being used as it should be.
Thanks for your support!
